Base of the mast. Ratchet straps held the base steady, I didnt want it going ANYWHERE.

I had to get creative here. I didnt have anything to guy to on this side. The logs are the corner of the cabin. I didnt want to tie off to those - I would have torn the cabin down. So a spare 2x4 and some granite did the trick.

Another guy point. Again, I got a little creative. There just happened to be a flake of rock with an edge that would JUST barely hold a rope. I had to tie off up above, though. Thats why there are lines there and back.

This is actually the main guy anchor - towards the south (prevaling winds). For some reason the winds were out of the North this time, so this point didnt get as much of a workout as I expected. Thats a nail-set stuck in the crack of the rocks.

Getting a little quiet time on the lake. This little rig works pretty well for being twice as old as I am. Just dont go out when the wind blows too hard (I went for a swim last year).

Heres our main do-it-all boat (me in the background under the sail). We have a V-hull Lowe for longer fishing trips, the pontoon boat cant go as fast.
